The story
A team case: each team has its own papers and nobody knows everything. Inspired by the Wine Horses of Caravaca, UNESCO Intangible Heritage. The club and the people are invented.
Caravaca de la Cruz, early hours of 2 May 2026. The town isn't sleeping: tomorrow, sixty horses dressed in silk and gold cloaks will gallop up the Castle Slope, each surrounded by its four runners, in under eight seconds.
The El Pellejo club was going to debut the most ambitious cloak in its history: eleven months of hand embroidery, gold thread and a Caravaca Cross on the hindquarters. After the afternoon's bareback horse event, they left it hanging in the club house, under lock and key. At one in the morning, the president went to show it to some friends: the hanger was empty.
Nobody forced the door. Social media is already blaming the rival club. The Local Police ask for your help: four teams, each with their own papers. At nine the harness competition begins.

- Lucía TorrecillasEl Pellejo runner22 years old. One of the four who run up with the horse. This year she was made a reserve and hasn't taken it well.
- Iván SáezPhotographer35 years old. He photographs cloaks for a publisher. He went into the club in the afternoon to take photos of the cloak.
- Paco NavarroPresident of El Pellejo64 years old. He discovered the theft. He's been in the club for forty years and is devastated.
